We Create
Self-Awareness by Profiling Strengths and Limitations
Value we provide: Our performance surveys
reveal underutilized auto-self strengths that inhibit reaching full potential and insidious auto-self
characteristics that undermine otherwise excellent performance.
Our process: We precede most coaching
engagements with a comprehensive leadership performance survey consisting of an online multi-rater survey (360°
survey of boss, peers, and subordinates plus potentially other groups) and interviews combined into a comprehensive
package that pinpoints strengths to leverage and weaknesses to overcome.
Our
engagement: We
analyze and combine results into a report that we present in person to each participant and separately to each
participant's boss and HR representative. Often, more people participate in the
leadership performance survey than a company plans to invest in through coaching. We prioritize participants
according to the benefits coaching will provide the company. In cases where inadequate performance has persisted so
long that too many influential people have negative attitudes about them, we identify this and recommend
repositioning the person and searching for a better replacement instead of coaching. If you cannot identify a
viable internal replacement, we work with you to select a recruiting organization that understands the decisive
influence of the auto-self and can locate candidates who not only have superior intellect and outstanding knowledge
but also have auto-self characteristics that align with the needs of the job and your
organization.

Coach Leaders to Achieve Peak Performance
Value we
provide: Our transformational coaching unleashes trapped potential and overcomes involuntary
characteristics that undermine reaching peak performance.
Our process: We transform
uncontrollable behaviors that undermine sustained success. We do it directly by counteracting the feelings that
drive the dysfunctional behavior and indirectly by reconstructing auto-contexts that create negative attitudes. We
transform counterproductive habits that block needed actions and those that create disruptive behaviors.
Our
engagement: Coaching takes place mostly over the telephone. We
conduct two one-hour telephone coaching sessions a week and one face-to-face session a month. We also provide
face-to-face feedback once a quarter to the Sponsors, which normally consist of the top executive and the top HR
person at the site. Coaching engagements normally last about one year to achieve permanent
results.
Our
differentiation: With deep executive experience, we sometimes
advise our clients. However, we focus on transformational coaching as opposed to advisory coaching. We follow a
systematic process of counteracting the feelings that drive undesired behaviors and recontextualizing attitudes
that cause them. We base our techniques on a solid understanding of the properties of the underlying mental
activities that control business-related performance. We have the advantage of coaching from the vantage point of

Our process: To succeed in
today's environment, we must change the rules of the game for performance improvement. We construct a new
performance-improvement culture, or in the terminology used at this website, we help you cross the chasm to a new
performance-improvement Pinnacle that enables you and your organization to recognize, understand (more accurately,
"contextualize"), and manage the automatic aspects of human performance.
Our
engagement: This program uses experiential workshops with
on-the-job practice between sessions. You will achieve best results if top management and other key influencers
participate. Depending on specific goals, we will conduct four to six workshops over 6 to 9 months ranging from one
day to a half day each. These participants then take responsibility for changing the company culture by guiding
others to cross the chasm to the new performance-improvement Pinnacle.
