Before joining Complete Leadership, David Ramsey enjoyed a very long and impressive career in the automotive industry at Chrysler/DaimlerChrysler. Throughout his years at Chrysler he had increasing responsibilities as a Quality Engineer, Supervisor, Superintendent, Launch Manager, Operations Manager and eventually a Production Manufacturing Manager at two different plants.

In his roles as Production Manufacturing Manager David was responsible for thousands of employees and hundreds of millions of dollars of manufacturing operations. Throughout his years in management Dave developed a very strong group of UAW union workers in a team oriented work format. This would not have been possible to accomplish without a well-developed level of leadership, coaching, facilitation, and negotiation skills. Everyday was a juggling act of union, production, operations, engineering, and supplier issues. If not executed properly, any one of those issues had the potential of bringing the entire plant to a stand-still and costing the company millions of dollars in lost production.

Throughout his career at Chrysler, Dave had a solid reputation for being a strong and straight talking leader. Everyone knew where they stood with him and what was expected of them. However, David still frequently encountered situations where someone seemed to be frozen into inaction and overwhelmed by 'People Issues'. He often felt that he was spending an inordinate amount of time and effort helping his staff master the people side of doing business.

Since being introduced to Complete Leadership, Dave now realizes it was the Background Processes of his staff, and at times himself, that was getting in the way of more easily doing business. He is convinced that if he had been a trained coach of Background Process transformation while working for Chrysler, many of the 'People Issues' would have been much simpler to overcome. Today he is a highly energized Complete Leadership coach with a personal mission of helping professionals overcome the Background Processes that are getting in the way of being more productive and powerful leaders.
